Pat Preedy
has worked in education for over 25 years. As headteacher of a Beacon School and Adjunct Professor (Curtin University, Western Australia), she has developed whole brain learning techniques including a daily physical exercise programme. Currently she is Executive Principal and Director of Research and Training for Global Education Management Systems (GEMS).

Pat has spearheaded the development of several projects including Accelerated Learning, Performance Management, Early Years Education and Special Needs. Research Report

Qualified at the Institute of Neuro Physiological Psychology (INNP) she is currently investigating the link between physical and cognitive development. With colleagues, she has developed a "Fit for Learning" programme for babies and primary school pupils. Pat is Education Research Consultant for the Twins and Multiple Births Association (Tamba) and a past Chair of the Council of Multiple Births. She was part of the team that developed the Performance Indicators in Primary Schools (PIPS) value added assessments (The University of Durham).

Pat is also the co-author of Ready Steady Go! A daily fun movement programme developed for babies and young children published by Learning works.
